- New Bosch Advantage Wiper to improve the safety of vehicle drivers
- Bosch advocates safe mobility with quality car parts through "One Wrong Part Ruins Everything" campaign
- The best protection against road accidents is to prevent them with vehicles that meet basic safety standards
3 March 2016 - Wiper blades are one of the most vital safety devices of a car. However, it is only when they do not work well, drivers realize how critical good visibility is for safe driving. A study by the Freedom of Information Act has also attribute the main cause of road accidents to impaired visibility. If the driver's vision is affected, they have no time to react if a hazard appears nearby.
As a forward-looking global technology provider, Bosch Automotive Aftermarket (AA) launches the new Advantage Wiper. Committed to improving the life of its consumers, Bosch hopes to increase the safety of car drivers by providing undisputed wiping performance for enhanced road visibility.
Engineered for countries in Asia, the new Bosch Advantage Wiper delivers exceptional wiping endurance and performance, even under harsh tropical weather conditions. Built to last longer, the tropicalized rubber formula on the new Bosch Advantage Wiper is resistant to cracks and damages from long term ozone and sunlight exposure. The wipers are also equipped with all-steel construction which has superior corrosion resistance and all-weather protection. Even after 200,000 wipe cycles, the new Bosch Advantage Wiper still performs almost as good as it was first installed. In addition, the new Bosch Advantage Wiper includes a highly compatible adaptor fitting 95% of vehicles in Asia. Its "Fast-fit" quick clip adaptor also enables the wipers to fit and install easily.
"Vehicle drivers often underestimate how the smallest parts within a vehicle can make a difference. A simple component like a wiper not working properly can affect the visibility of the driver which can lead to extreme circumstances. As one of the leading global automotive parts supplier, Bosch brings German engineering to keep vehicles in Asia moving safely with innovative technologies for safer mobility," said Federico Bianco, one of our ASEAN's Country Head of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket.
Safe mobility with quality car parts through "One Wrong Part Ruins Everything" campaign
Each year, vehicles on the road increase rapidly across the globe. No matter what type of vehicle, if it is not fitted with the proper spare parts, it cannot assure the passenger's safety. Presently, most people are not aware of the risk of infrequent wiper change. Besides potential bad vision for drivers, bad wipers can also damage and crack the windshield of a vehicle, increasing the chances of getting into an accident.
Bosch realizes that providing quality spare parts alone would not be enough to help consumers drive safely. With its latest "One Wrong Part Ruins Everything" campaign, Bosch advocates safe mobility by educating consumers on the importance of choosing quality car parts. Supported by high quality spare parts and components for most vehicle models, Bosch's portfolio offers a full range of practical, attractive and valuable products that improve driving experience. Its German Engineering DNA not only drives European vehicles, but drives Asian vehicles too.
Safety is in Consumers Hands
Based on the Global Status Report on Road Safety by the World Health Organization, approximately 1.25 million people die each year as a result of road traffic crashes. With this campaign, Bosch hopes to be able to reduce the number of road traffic accidents by providing people with durable products that last longer, as well as move their vehicles better and safer.
Consumers have a choice in the parts fitted in their cars to reach their destinations, and to keep their loved ones safe. Products under Bosch Automotive Aftermarket are not only designed to deliver optimal performance but also to move the vehicles more efficiently. Therefore, in order to #GetitRight we encourage everyone to #StartWithBosch.
